I British Academy Games Awards di quest'anno sono stati dominati da quello che è sicuramente il gioco che ha ottenuto più riconoscimenti di sempre: The Last of Us, che tra gli altri si è portato a casa il premio come miglior gioco. In totale, comunque, Naughty Dog si è portata a casa cinque premi, su dieci categorie. Non male. Grand Theft Auto V di Rockstar si è fermato a tre premi, mentre BioShock Infinite ne ha ricevuto soltanto uno. Da notare il premio per l'innovazione dato a quel piccolo capolavoro di Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, e il premio per il gioco di debutto dato a Gone Home, che ha scavalcato titoli come The Stanley Parable e Remember Me.
