La prestigiosa rivista britannica Edge ha pubblicato il suo elenco dei dieci migliori giochi dell'anno 2021, che vede in testa Deathloop di Arkane Studios, un'esclusiva temporale per PS5 e PC. Leggiamo l'elenco:

Come avete potuto leggere, la top 10 di Edge presenta delle scelte davvero particolari, oltre a qualche conferma. Di Deathloop viene elogiato come riesce a gestire i suoi percorsi multipli dando al giocatore la possibilità di scegliere come affrontare i singoli giorni da cui è composta l'avventura.
In seconda posizione troviamo Chicory: A Colorful Tale, di cui viene esaltata la capacità di legare la creatività a una narrativa forte e profonda. In terza il gioco di ruolo Wildermyth, di cui viene apprezzata la natura meta videoludica e la quantità di scelte davvero significative affidate al giocatore, in contrapposizione con altri titoli del genere dove la libertà è solo apparente. Bene anche il quarto posto di Dungeon Encounters, recensito proprio sullo stesso numero della rivista.
