Come abbiamo riportato già a più riprese, è prevista per il 5 dicembre 2014 la serata The Game Awards 2014, nuovo nome con cui viene identificato l'evento televisivo VGX di Spike TV.
La trasmissione è incentrata interamente sui videogiochi e rappresenta un evento di una certa importanza in questi anni, foriero anche di novità, anteprime mondiali, video e varie notizie sui videogiochi usciti e in arrivo in futuro, ma non dobbiamo scordarci del suo nucleo originario, ovvero la premiazione dei migliori prodotti videoludici dell'anno.
