In Giappone c'è stata la tradizionale Golden Week ma non è stata una settimana di vacanza per Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a quanto pare, che ha continuato a macinare ottimi numero sul mercato videoludico nipponico presentandosi nuovamente in testa alla classifica, dopo il suo debutto trionfale della settimana precedente.
Dall'1 al 7 maggio non si sono registrati nuovi lanci di rilievo, almeno nulla che sia rientrato nella top 20, dunque hanno avuto vita facile i soliti: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe appunto, seguito da Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X, Monster Hunter XX e The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Sul fronte hardware, Switch continua a macinare ottimi numeri con quasi 48.000 console vendute, doppiando PlayStation 4, mentre un incremento che al momento non è ben chiaro ha portato Xbox One a vendere 677 unità, decisamente di più delle solite quantità delle scorse settimane.
