Arrivano i dati di vendita relativi al mercato nipponico nella settimana compresa tra il 7 e il 13 settembre 2015 raccolti da Media Create.
È la settimana di Super Mario Maker e anche questa produzione Nintendo non fallisce l'obiettivo di centrare la prima posizione nella classifica software, spingendo conseguentemente le vendite di Wii U tra gli hardware secondo uno schema che è ormai tipico del mercato giapponese. Piuttosto impressionante il calo di vendite di Metal Gear Solid V, che dopo una prima settimana in testa con ben 336.440 copie vendute nei primi giorni crolla in terza posizione con 42.788 copie vendute questa settimana, sotto al suddetto Super Mario Maker (138.242 copie) e all'altra new entry di rilievo, ovvero Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX per Nintendo 3DS con 59.456 copie.
Di conseguenza in classifica hardware torna il panorama piuttosto stabilito, con Nintendo 3DS in testa seguito da Wii U e sotto PlayStation 4 e PlayStation Vita.
