Nella settimana dal 17 al 23 settembre, le classifiche software giapponesi hanno visto il debutto della versione PSP di Final Fantasy III e gli appassionati della saga Square Enix non hanno resistito, facendo balzare il titolo subito in vetta. Secondo in classifica New Super Mario Bros. 2 per Nintendo 3DS, mentre al terzo posto, a sorpresa, arriva Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning in versione PlayStation 3.
Sul fronte hardware, il Nintendo 3DS continua a dominare sia con la versione LL (la nostra XL) che con il modello originale, grazie al prezzo di vendita inferiore e alle offerte che senz'altro le varie catene stanno proponendo agli utenti. Nuovo calo per PlayStation Vita, invece: la console portatile Sony torna a scendere sotto le 10mila unità settimanali.
