Famitsu ha pubblicato la classifica dei giochi più attesi dai suoi lettori, che come al solito ci offre uno spaccato parziale dei gusti dei giocatori giapponesi, solitamente differenti da quelli occidentali, ma non per le prime due posizioni, occupate da The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kindom, seguito con un centinaio di voti di distacco da Final Fantasy 16. Tralasciando i nuovi The Legend of Zelda e Final Fantasy, attesissimi anche nei nostri lidi, la classifica rispecchia pienamente le differenze tra i gusti dei giocatori giapponesi e occidentali. Ad esempio troviamo nelle prime posizioni titoli come Pikmin 4, Atelier Marie Remake e YS X, che nonostante siano apprezzati anche in Europa e Nord America interessano in proporzione a una nicchia di pubblico più piccola.

Per il resto la classifica mostra un certo equilibrio tra titoli in arrivo su Nintendo Switch, PS5 e PS4, laddove per forza di cose le produzioni Xbox e PC hanno meno seguito considerando la minor diffusione delle due piattaforme in Sol Levante.
